Year 2 – February 23, 2013 – Polar Plunge
Picture this – the temperature is about 32 degree (it was starting to snow a little bit too) and surprisingly the water temperature is actually much warmer (I was told, as close as I got to the water, I did my best to not make any contact with it) at a whooping 34 degree. There were a record of 200 people took the Polar Plunge at the local Haithco Park for a good cause. The company I work for sent 16 people for plunge. I made sure that I volunteered to take the pictures.

great photo. I makes me cold just looking at it
All I can say is that my fingers were numb after taking pictures for 45 mins – well bundled up – away from the icy cold water. It was so cold some people lost control over their limbs – couldn’t even tell the arms to swim. That’s why the divers are there to help.
