July 2, 2012 – Gone Fishing
Gone fishing! A little sign that that is quintessentially American (for me at least) – and as far as this picture is concerned, Canada. Fishing for me is one of the North American thing to do. This photo of this man, fishing away by the dam by White’s Falls in Muskoka, Ontario. This place is a nice gem that unfortunately (or fortunately), have not been properly managed as one of the nicest outdoor attractions. I got there by chance after I saw several cars parked by the side of the street. This place is very peaceful and I can just picture myself sitting by the shore and fish all day. I am glad I found it.

Thank you – i took a lot of pictures that day – somehow I keep coming back to this guys fishing. The second picture wasn’t much – but it help to remind me the location. Often times I have to choose between “diary type” or just simply photograph and I have to try to find the delicate balance between them 🙂
