October 17, 2012 – Yellow

The hostas plant in my backyard are turning yellow.  The (early) autumn has taken its toll on most of the plants outdoors.  A couple frosty mornings sent signals the perennials to hibernate and rest until next spring.  As for the annuals, Mother Nature said “I hope you have done enough to nurture your body and the the soul of the inhabitants to this place, it is time for you to take an eternal slumber.  I wish you have enough to pass on to your next generation”

For today, the hostas is showing its final vibrancy, soaking up the last rays of sunshine and to go bravely into the night.
