Year 2 – May 26, 2013 Navy V.S. Air Force
Yesterday we were going to go to the Scenic Caves Nature Adventure at Blue Mountain however by the time we got there (at 4:30 PM) it was already closed. So we returned today to check out the scenic caves, caverns and lookout. Most of all, we are here to check out the 420’ suspension footbridge. This suspension bridge is Southern Ontario’s longest suspension footbridge. Lined by a wire fence with handrail, it is wide enough for two people to walk side by side. 25 meters above the valley, one can savor the spectacular views of Georgian Bay and the surrounding countryside. On a clear day, you can see 10,000 square kilometres.
While taking a break after a very nice hike into the canyons and caverns (for some reason I started humming “Oh My Darling Clememtine”) we sat down by the trout pond and came upon the magnificent sights of the battle between nature’s Navy and Air Force.
Hey where’s the flower?
