Year 2 – June 9, 2013 Tranquility

Woodstock Service Centre at sunset.  You cannot see the hustle and bustle in this oasis.  At this moment, I am feeling the tranquility of the place and grateful feeling to be able to stretch my legs a little bit (OK – I am not really that tired – but, it’s nice to be able to stop and watch the sunset while standing still instead of chasing the sunset as I always do on my way back to the west.  My summer drive from Mississauga back to Michigan has always been about following the sunset and quite often wishing I could stop along the 401 to just capture the beautiful moment of the setting sun.

I know that I have trucks in the picture instead of the nice lush open field, maybe some other day.  For now, this is as good as it gets.
