February 20, 2016 – Yum
Wikipedia said that banana is a edible fruit that is actually a berry, botanically speaking. I don’t know who it is trying to fool – like I have never seen a berry before, right? But oh well, it’s in Wikipedia, it must true.
Banana is slightly radioactive, more so than most other fruits, because of their potassium content and the small amounts of the isotope potassium-40 found in naturally occurring potassium. The banana equivalent dose of radiation is sometimes used in nuclear communication to compare radiation levels and exposures …
That’s it – I am not reading about banana anymore – it will just ruin a perfectly yummy sweet fried banana that I just made. Ahh – ignorance is bliss.
By the way, there are stuff growing on my car windows – if this picture were taken in Michigan, that would be ice crystal in the morning, but it was not taken in Michigan. Must be some kind of really persistent algae.
